Ministry Training Programme 2009-2010
This
three year modular programme is open to anyone who is
interested in furthering their faith
through study. New Testament and Old Testament; Study Skills; Doctrine; Church History; Worship; Pastoral Skills and Ethics. You may choose to do just one unit of study, come to one Saturday workshop, or do a pick and mix of modules. The charge is £25 per module. Saturday workshops are free. This
academic year, 2009/10, there will be a New Testament module,
starting in September, with a Saturday New Testament workshop, a
Study Skills module, also starting in September, and an Old
Testament module starting in January, with a Saturday workshop.
The modules are being run at four different centres around
the Anglican diocese. Participants
will gain the most from each module requires if they can find time
to read and prepare for sessions.
Some reading will be from a core book; there will also be
printed articles and material available on-line.
You may like to do some short written exercises between
sessions. |
